Gingers Do It Better

My Pumpkin Joust entry for VETERNAETR 2016

Featuring Jager Al, Bjartr 641 , and their rider Runa

I literally have not worried so much about consistancy in my art until this piece. It had to be the best, I had to use no references and push myself or I wasn't going to be satisfied. I worked over 20 hours on it, scrapped foeground work twice and redid the same concept. I made sure I put detail into my painting, tried new ways to do it. I'm so pleased with it, and it is up there in the top three best pieces of my gallery. ALSO, just so everyone knows each blade of grass was individually painted. I am not kidding I sat there for half an hour or more doing that shite.
